Christmas/New Year's Celebration
As part of our 4th annual New Year's Celebration 2009, the Music Ministry will be putting on a musical production of "Nicholas the Wondering Orphan." Adapted from the children's chapter book of the same name, this story takes place when the future Santa Claus was a child, centered around his hardships at age six. Rehearsal will begin August 2008.

Another play is planned for mid-January. "An Orphan Named Christian," written by Shirley Hanna, is a full-length, feature play. This is a non-musical production. The plot is centered around an 8-year-old boy's life as an orphan: his hardships and his journey to find happiness through an angel, an elf, his friends, and one very special couple looking to adopt. Rehearsals will begin in Richmond, August 2008 during the Music Ministry program on Sunday night.
