June 15 - Pentecost

Pentecost is one of the most important days of the year. It is really the birthday of the Christian church! As our Lord had promised, He sent to his disciples the Paraclete, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter to guide them. It is through the gifts of the Holy Spirit in each of us that Christianity spread across the globe!

June 16-July 12 - Apostles' Fast & Feast

During this period, we recall the strength and courage of the apostles that Jesus Christ sent out into the world to spread the Gospel. On the Apostles' Feast, we remember the martyrdoms of St. Paul and St. Peter, each of whom were separated from the Lord for a time (Paul in his persecution of Christians, Peter in his thrice denial of Christ) but were renewed by the Holy Spirit to become strong inspirations to worldwide Christians!
